Floating offshore wind turbines

We are expanding our renewable energy portfolio in Italy with the development of a major floating offshore wind project located off the coast of Sicily. Leveraging the strong and consistent Mediterranean winds, floating offshore wind turbines are deployed on innovative buoyant platforms anchored to the seabed, enabling installation in deep-water areas where traditional fixed-bottom foundations are not feasible. This project underscores our commitment to pioneering next-generation clean energy technologies, contributing to Italy's national renewable energy targets, and advancing the European Union's broader decarbonization objectives by reducing carbon emissions and strengthening long-term energy security.
